The one question to ask yourself in this New Year!

At the start of the New Year, I like to reflect upon these two questions:

1.How did I connect with myself and others last year? and

2. How would I like to connect with myself and others this year?

Imagine if I asked you, “Are you still connected with yourself?” What would you say? The answer has to be “Yes,” doesn’t it? Imagine replying, “No.” Or saying, “I’ve enough of myself already, actually.”

To connect and to live are basically the same thing. To want to live is to want to connect with yourself, your mind, your body, your family, others, the world, your spirituality…. If you want to keep on living, you have to be willing to keep on connecting.

1.How did I Connect with myself and others last year?

2020 was a challenging year for all of us.

Sometimes, it is necessary to meet such a challenging year in Reactive ways.

One lesson I’ve learned from my life is . . .

when faced with a big challenge, the only way to leave my Reactive mode is to go back to my Responsive mode – my “well-being” mode – by CONNECTING with myself and others.

How did you connect with yourself, your well-being, and others in 2020? What did you learn? When did you open your heart? What was new?

Recognizing the ways you have nurtured your sense of connection is very empowering.

2.How would I like to connect with myself and others this year?

What does authentic connection mean to you?

For me, it’s about becoming more of who we already are.

It’s about allowing our true nature to take off its coat, plant its roots, and send its shoots up to the light.

How will you be a beginner again this year? What do you want to learn? What talent do you want to nurture? Now is the time for imagination. Now is the time for courage. Now is the time for Connection. Complete these sentences.
